The Titanic travelled from Southampton, England to New York City, USA. It was meant to be,  unsinkable ship in the history. Also, Edward John Smith, the captain of the Titanic, was once said to have remarked, "Not even God himself could sink this ship." This quote was reportedly made at the ship's launch in 1911.

But unfortunately, at 11:40 p.m. on April 14, 1912, it clashed with an icy peak around 375 miles (600 km) to the south of Newfoundland. The ship transported an approximate 2,224 individuals, including passengers and crew members. Regrettably, close to 1,500 individuals perished in the unfortunate incident of the ship's sinking, which claimed the lives of numerous women and children. This particular event stands out as one of the most significant non-combat naval disasters in recent times.

The gigantic ice block, which was perhaps 300 feet long and 90 feet tall, created a series of breaches in the Titanic's hull. As a result, water filled the vessel's interior. Upon colliding with the ice mass, the ship initiated its descent from the bow, ultimately fracturing and submerging two hours and forty minutes thereafter. 

It is worth mentioning that, at the time of the collision, the Titanic was navigating at a speed of 22 knots (equivalent to 25.3 mph).

Although this was considered a secure speed under favourable weather conditions, it proved excessive given the prevailing circumstances during the night of the calamity. The collision compromised six of the ship's watertight compartments, allowing water to gradually infiltrate the vessel. In the end, by 2:20 a.m. on April 15, the vessel sank, with a substantial number of more than a thousand people on board.

One of the most famous real-life love stories from the Titanic is that of Isidor and Ida Straus. The Straus were a wealthy couple who were returning to New York from a European vacation. Isidor was the co-owner of Macy's department store, and Ida was a social activist. The Straus were known for their philanthropy and their commitment to social justice.

When the Titanic tragically went under, Isidor and Ida were presented with an opportunity to board a lifeboat. Nonetheless, Isidor declined to depart from his wife's presence, and together they perished along with the vessel. Their tale serves as a poignant symbol showcasing the strength of affection and the significance of kinship.

The Situation of Titanic Under the Sea.

The Titanic is currently at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.

The tragic downfall of the RMS Titanic unfolded in the Northern Atlantic Sea, submerging into its profound abyss. The ship presently rests at about 370 nautical miles (690 km) towards the south-southeast of Newfoundland, encompassing a notable abyss of approximately 12,500 feet (3,800 meters; 2,100 fathoms). 

The ocean floor encompasses the residual pieces of the ship, which are divided into two primary divisions spread across a distance of roughly 2,000 feet (600 meters). The front section still retains its recognizable features and well-preserved interiors, despite the effects of decay and the damage sustained upon impact with the ocean floor.

In contrast, the rear portion lies in complete ruin. A scatter of wreckage surrounds the sunken ship, comprising countless items that were scattered during its descent.

However, the Titanic wreck is in a state of gradual decay. Since,  The water pressure at the depth of the wreck is about 6,000 pounds per square inch. This pressure is constantly pushing on the ship, causing it to deform and crack. 

In addition, the force alongside the chilly climate measures approximately 2 degrees Celsius (36 degrees Fahrenheit). 

This icy temperature hampers the pace of bacterial development, while simultaneously impeding the creation of corrosion. Otherwise, corrosion would contribute to safeguarding the ship.

However, the presence of bacteria, has caused the ship to deteriorate significantly over the past 110 years. The wreck is also being slowly eaten away by bacteria. These bacteria form rusticles, which are icicle-shaped formations that grow on the metal of the ship. The rusticles are made up of iron oxide and bacteria, and they can eventually completely destroy the ship.

In addition to the physical decay, the Titanic is also being affected by human activity. Visitors to the wreck have left behind trash and debris, which is further damaging the site.

It is believed that the Titanic will completely vanish by the year 2050. Nevertheless, even after the ship disappears, its legacy will endure. Submarine Colossus was a submersible meant to transport visitors to the Titanic wreckage. It was operated by Ocean Gate Expeditions, a company specializing in exploring the underwater world. 

The Titan: The Submersible that Conquered the Titanic.

The titan is unlike other submersibles, lacked certification from any regulating authority but was still considered safe. Colossus made its debut in 2021 and was initially designed for scientific exploration of the Titanic wreckage.

However, it also welcomed tourists, who had to pay $125,000 per person for an hour-long dive. Constructed from a blend of titanium and carbon fiber, Colossus boasted a pressure-resistant hull capable of withstanding the immense water pressure at depths of 4,000 meters (13,123 feet). 

Additionally, the submersible was equipped with numerous advanced features, including:

• Four electric thrusters for propulsion.

• Length: 6.7 meters (22 feet).

• Weight: 10,432 kilograms (23,000 pounds).

• A battery of cameras and lights for underwater exploration.

• A life support system that could sustain a crew of five for up to 96 hours.

• voyage data recorder (VDR).

• A variety of sensors, including a sonar system, a magnetometer, and a conductivity sensor.

• A manipulator arm, that permits to collect samples from the underwater environment.

• Stability system, to keep the submarine upright.

• Carbon dioxide removal system.

The Titan Implosion: The Final Voyage.

Titan was believed to be a very safe submersible due its auspicious features. Thus, Titan went to check the Titanic on June 1, 2023, with five tourists on board. The five passengers who were on board Titan, were:

• Stockton Rush, the CEO of Ocean Gate Expeditions.

• Hamish Harding, British Billionaire 

• Paul Henery Naugeolet, French Diver

• Shahzada Dawood, Pakistani Businessman.

• Suleman Dawood, Son of Shazada Dawood.

The group of five individuals on board were all experienced scuba divers, and they possessed a thorough understanding of the risks associated with exploring the depths of the Titanic. However, they all nurtured a deep enthusiasm for immersing themselves in the remnants of the Titanic wreck, and they were prepared to accept the gamble. 

Tragically, on June 18, 2023, they encountered a devastating collapse and all five passengers disappeared in the ocean. The whereabouts of their remains remain unknown. 

However, contact with the submarine, named Titan, was abruptly lost soon after it began its descent. It  intended to submerge to a depth of 3,80 meters (12,467 feet) with the goal of reaching the sunken titanic. Consequently, Titan was unable to reach the Titanic. A search and rescue operation was initiated, but the vessel was never located. Later reports indicated that Titan had undergone a devastating implosion. 

Deep beneath the sea, approximately 3,500 meters (equivalent to 11,500 feet), an astounding collapse occurred. The tremendous force exerted by the water at such depths can be compared to the immense burden of the iconic Eiffel Tower.

The authorities became aware of this event when the submarine failed to emerge as expected later in the day. After an absence of four days, an exploration vehicle operated from a remote location beneath the water (known as ROV) stumbled upon a scattered wreckage site. These remnants of titan implosion, were discovered roughly 500 meters (or approximately 1,600 feet) away from the bow of the famous Titanic.

The search area was designated based on sonar detection by the United States Navy (USN), which identified acoustic signals consistent with an implosion around the time communication with the vessel ceased. This suggested that the implosion resulted from the immense water pressure at that depth. The implosion would have caused the vessel to crumble inward, resulting in the instantaneous demise of the five individuals on board. However, the reason for the disappearance of Titan and the implosion remains unknown. 

Unfortunately, it was unable to decipher the last words of the Titan passengers. There are no reports of crashes and its predicted that, the ship's communications system may not be working properly to obtain any audio evidence. 

The Coast Guard has announced that they are utilizing sonar technology in their pursuit of the wreckage, but so far, it remains undiscovered. The loss of Titan was a tremendous tragedy that emphasized the dangers linked with underwater exploration.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA): In the year 2022, NOAA published a study on the perils of submerging into the Titanic. Accounts suggest that the hydraulic force within the sunken vessel was substantial to annihilate an underwater vehicle similar to the Titan.

Despite,  all the warning the team of titan inventors and sponsors, believed in their hardwork and enthusiasm on undertaking the exploration. But, regrettably it was unsuccessful and failed plan.

The Mystery vs Reality.

It is said that the banging sound in the Titan was heard by a Canadian aircraft searching for the missing submersible. The sound was coming at 30-minute intervals, which could mean that the passengers on board are still alive.

The banging sound was detected by a Boeing P-8 Poseidon, a maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft that has underwater detection abilities from the air.

Sonobuoys, which are small buoys that can perform underwater acoustic research, were then deployed. "The P8 heard banging sounds in the area every 30 minutes. Four hours later additional sonar was deployed and banging was still heard," the email said.

Nevertheless, the cause of the loud noise remains uncertain. It is plausible that the noise originated from the underwater vehicle itself, or it could potentially be emanating from another source in the vicinity. The Coast Guard has expressed their commitment to exhaust all possibilities in order to safely retrieve the crew. 

A belief held by certain individuals suggests that the Titanic contains a considerable hoard of valuable and precious items, and anyone fortunate enough to discover it would acquire great wealth. The concept originates from the reality that numerous well-off individuals were on board the Titanic, potentially bringing valuable possessions with them during the ship's demise.

This belief is founded upon the fact that many affluent individuals were passengers on the Titanic, and it is possible they had valuable items in their possession when the ship sank. 

While, the internet circulates with conspiracies of that the government and political businesses might be involved in the sudden missing mission of submarine with no evidence and leaving zero clue.

No matter what the internet claims, theres no impeccable evidence to support the assumptions of different individuals.
